Why onigiri made with this mold are delicious:
The cypress wood mold absorbs excess moisture, resulting in rice with a more ideal flavor. Even perfectly cooked rice will gradually lose its stickiness and return to a raw state if left in a steamy environment. This phenomenon is due to the aging of rice starch. Using a wooden mold prevents this. Additionally, the finished onigiri will have a subtle hint of cypress aroma, making them more appetizing.

Care and Precautions for the Onigiri Mold:
■ Regarding roughness and fuzziness:
This product is finished by hand using natural wood. Due to the nature of natural wood, some roughness or fuzziness may occur in areas where the processing machine (blade) moves against the grain of the wood.
